Village of Ephraim

The Village of Ephraim has enacted an ordinance for all short-term rentals. The Village of Ephraim STR license will be renewed annually and is due by November 30 of each year.  Fee Schedule: Initial Licensing Fee $200 - Late fee $150 (Renewal fee t/b/d)

The Village of Sister Bay has enacted a Premier Resort Area Tax (PRAT), which adds an additional 0.5% tax to short-term rentals.

City of Sturgeon Bay Tourist Rooming House Ordinance

As of the February 16th, 2016 Common Council meeting, the tourist rooming house ordinance passed and is now part of the City's Zoning Code.  Those who rent transiently within the City of Sturgeon Bay will need a permit from both the Door County Tourism Zone Commission and the City of Sturgeon Bay.
